Day 1: Arrival in Baku - Gateway to Azerbaijan

Upon your arrival at Heydar Aliyev International Airport (GYD) in Baku, you will be warmly greeted and transferred to your comfortable accommodation in the city. Take some time to settle in and perhaps enjoy a leisurely stroll around your hotel's vicinity to get your first taste of Baku's atmosphere. The remainder of the day is yours to relax and prepare for the exciting explorations that lie ahead. Overnight in Baku.

Day 2: Unveiling the Wonders of Baku City

Today is dedicated to discovering the rich tapestry of Baku's history and modern marvels. Our comprehensive city tour will begin with the iconic Flame Towers, striking modern skyscrapers symbolizing Azerbaijan's progress and illuminated in a dazzling display at night. We will then enjoy a pleasant walk along the beautifully landscaped Baku Boulevard, stretching along the Caspian Sea.

Ascending to the panoramic Highland Mountain (Dagustu Park) will reward us with breathtaking vistas of the Baku skyline and the bay. A delightful boat ride awaits in Little Venice, a charming miniature city nestled within the boulevard. We will explore the ancient Maiden Tower, an enigmatic cylindrical monument and UNESCO World Heritage site steeped in legend and history, followed by an immersion into medieval history at the grand Palace of Shirvanshahs, another UNESCO World Heritage site. Our cultural exploration continues with the unique Museum of Miniature Books and the exquisite National Carpet Museum, showcasing the intricate artistry of Azerbaijani carpets.

We will also step back in time as we explore the remnants of the historic Old Caravanserais, ancient trading posts along the Silk Road, and admire the elegant Juma Mosque. Finally, we will experience the lively atmosphere of Fountain Square, adorned with beautiful fountains, and delve into the rich history of the nation at the esteemed National History Museum. Day 3: Thrills and Beauty at Shahdag Mountain Ski Resort

Today, we embark on an exciting excursion to the Shahdag Mountain Ski Resort, a premier destination offering stunning natural beauty and a wide array of activities, regardless of the season. You will have the opportunity to experience an exhilarating ride on the roller coaster amidst the mountain scenery. Depending on the season, you might choose to soar through the air with paragliding or enjoy the thrill of snowboarding and skiing on the slopes.

Feel the adrenaline rush as you glide across the landscape on a zip-line or engage in playful snowball fights and other snow games during winter. For those seeking adventure, guided off-road tours explore the rugged terrain, while scenic hiking trails offer immersion in the mountain environment during warmer months. You can also try the fun-filled catapult and swing activities or test your aim at the shooting range. Spend the day enjoying the activities that appeal to you amidst the fresh mountain air and stunning vistas.

In the late afternoon, we will return to Baku for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 4: Exploring the Ancient Wonders of Absheron and Gobustan

Today's journey takes us to the fascinating Absheron Peninsula and the ancient landscapes of Gobustan. We will begin by witnessing the enigmatic Burning Mountain (Yanar Dag), a natural gas fire that has been continuously burning on a hillside for centuries. Next, we will explore the historical Ateshgah Temple (Fire Temple), a unique religious site with its historical connections to Zoroastrianism.

We will then admire the striking architecture and explore the cultural exhibitions within the modern marvel of the Heydar Aliyev Center and capture a memorable photo at the symbolic "I LOVE BAKU" sign. In Gobustan, we will learn about the ancient petroglyphs through the engaging modern technology of the Gobustan 3D Museum before discovering thousands of ancient rock carvings (petroglyphs) dating back millennia at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Gobustan National Park, offering insights into prehistoric life.

Finally, we will witness the unique geological phenomenon of the Gobustan Mud Volcanos bubbling and erupting across the landscape. After a day filled with historical and natural wonders, we will return to Baku for your final night in the city.

Day 5: Farewell Azerbaijan

After breakfast at your hotel, you will have some free time for any last-minute souvenir shopping or simply to reflect on the incredible experiences of your Azerbaijani adventure. You will then be transferred to Heydar Aliyev International Airport (GYD) for your departure, carrying with you cherished memories of your time in Baku and beyond.
